Since the launch of the Airline collection in 2016, the "XXL airline flap" has been released nearly every year, with changes made to the design year over year. Today, the XXL "Airline" travel flap no longer has the pass-through back pocket for the telescopic handle as they did with earlier generations like this one. Also, there are two (2) main sizes of this airlines flap - the larger 17 inch size, and the smaller 15 inch size. While the 15 inch size is still very large, larger than most Chanel tote bags, it is sleeker and holds its shape easier than the 17 inch counterpart.

Made from luxurious grained calfskin on the outside and a strong mesh canvas on the inside, this bag is durable and sustainable with double woven straps and a back "slider" for roller telescopic handles that has a hidden zippered bottom to double up as a back pocket when not being placed on a roller bag.
