Chanel's iconic classic bag is the quilted classic flap. It's left its mark as the quintessential classic Chanel icon with its diamond-quilted panels, the front CC turnlock closure, double woven chain straps and double flap.
With a double flap, or another flap on the interior, this bag has an extra flat pocket underneath the main compartment, an extra hidden pocket behind the interior flap.
The double flap provides more structure but less space than its single flap counterparts (although medium and small classic flaps only come in double flaps).

The small size of the classic double flap is harder to find than the medium -- at 9 inches wide, right in between the medium and the rectangular mini, it's the smaller size of the medium flap. Especially for vintage models, this size is harder to find than its medium counterparts.

This item is in excellent condition with very few signs of normal use. Vintage craftsmanship and buttery leather. Corners are clean with no rubbing or scuffing. Hardware is clean and shiny. It is a deep, yellow 24k gold plated hardware which is impossible now to find in stores as it is no longer produced. Interior is clean. The beautiful leather is petal-soft, never refurbished, and representative of a time period when Chanel's quality was at its height.
